About the Journal
Advances in Biochemistry is a journal, published by the Polish Biochemical Society. Advances in Biochemistry is an Open Access journal. The journal is published quarterly and presents papers in Polish and English, presenting current biochemistry and molecular biology advancements. The journal publishes reviews, short notes concerning important advancements or events, and letters to the editor.

Review paper topics are enzymology, metabolism, metabolism regulation, biological membrane structure and function, bioenergetics, gene structure, gene expression and regulation, structure and metabolism of proteins, nuclear acids, carbohydrates, and lipids, molecular cell biology, and cell signaling. Topics include also topics concerning modern "omics" (genomics, proteomics, etc).
Advances in Biochemistry are indexed in Medline/ PubMed and Agrolibrex.
Advances in Biochemistry use a double-blind review scheme, where the author does not know the reviewer and the reviewer does not know who is the author of the manuscript.
